Teamkilling

Hi my friends,

What do you think about teamkilling?
I think that it is great when you play with PRO players, because it is like real life and it is more exciting.
However when you are playing with new players it can be a bit desperate... they kill you a lot of time, i understand accident happens but, Is it so difficult say Sorry? I also teamkill, always unintentionally and I never forgiven and It is a bit unpleasant see teamkill warning messages for "PRO" (not n00bs XD) players.
Other case is boring people, or people dont have any friends or are so n00bs that always do teamkills because cant kill the enemy.

I am in favor of it but I see weaknesses... i think the last ones must be punished at least with temporal ban.

This is my humble opinion, hoping to improve Pandora

Yeah, I also always say sorry when I TeamKill.



I think we have it setup if there are 3 or 4 teamkills, they player gets kicked and temp banned. However if you do !fp (forgive last TKer) or !fa (forgive all TKers), the rule will not apply.



Dunno however if TK is starting to be a bigggggg problem, bc of the above server bot rule.

This is one of the problem that I see.
If you teamkill 3-4 times unintentionally and new players dont forgive you... you will be temp banned and it is a pitty that, Im forgiven (!fp and !fa both) teamkiller but when I do once (not aimbot days XD) I could be banned and at the end who suffer it are we.

I would like to know people opinion.

Hi Kimer,
TK is and always will be a problem and an emotive subject. For good players it is very useful especially in CTF games when your team-mate has the flag and is low on health. It can be the difference between a successful cap and not.
We all have accidents especially when we are forced to change colour by the system when players leave the game. It is not hard to apologise and most regular players will use !fp.
The last point, I do not like to use the term noob we all have to learn, but they are out there and some of them just do it to annoy. Accept them for what they are Nobs ( In English mens pieces )not noobs. The only way to remove them is as Soldier comments above, they are and always will be there.

It wasnt my intention annoying anyone, I refer they like New Players, I was the biggest nob, still I am but less XD
I only call nob to new player when they really get furious me, most of the time when they are teamkilling intentionally or they are acussing me of hacking.

You are putting forward your opinion and not directing it at me I know that. I agree with you on most points and have just replied with my view. It is probably because I have written it in English you may not understand correctly I will translate for you. It was annoying the other day when we were playing and the Nobs kept trying to kick you. They are worse than the Team killers. If I was admin here I would have slapped them for you.

Los conocimientos tradicionales es y será siempre un problema y un tema emotivo. Para los buenos jugadores es muy útil sobre todo en los juegos de CTF cuando su compañero de equipo tiene la bandera y es baja en la salud. Puede ser la diferencia entre una tapa con éxito y no.
Todos tenemos accidentes, especialmente cuando nos vemos obligados a cambiar de color por el sistema cuando los jugadores abandonen el juego. No es difícil pedir perdón y la mayoría de los jugadores regulares se usan! Fp.
El último punto, no me gusta utilizar el término noob, todos tenemos que aprender, pero que están ahí fuera y algunos de ellos sólo lo hacen para molestar. Aceptar como lo que son Nobs no (en inglés piezas para hombre) noobs. La única manera de eliminarlos es como los comentarios sobre el soldado, que son y siempre estará ahí.

yeah, happens to me "a lot" when I change teams, I forget the colours and start killing my own team (hey pensioner, notice how I wrote colours and not colors?? those rebel yank scumbags shan't succeed!!! )



So from what I understand, the problem is when "good" players get banned without TKing on purpose. One easy way to correct this is to come on Teamspeak and ask to remove the ban (I think it can be done .p).

THe other aspect which I think is a temporary shortcoming on our side, is the fact that when you TK some1, a message should appear with the !fa and !fp information, and I think it is not appearing automatically (which decreases the chance of a player forgiving another player). We'll try to correct this, if it is indeed the case.

OMG... I'm 1st place on the xlrtopstats with a skill of 2200..
I only registered yesterday..
and today.. I'm banned from the server for teamkilling..
